2.1.17
Industrial printing is defined as the application of print to an industrial product or process; the print is not the product, but rather it is a value-add to a product. As industrial printing markets mature and evolve, they tend to move away from the umbrella of “other industrial printing” and into their own defined segment. For example, package printing is an industrial printing application, but given their size and scope, we tend to speak about them in their own respective categories.
Industrial applications are where Kao Collins thrives because we are challenged and respond with innovative solutions. Industrial printing challenges include color gamut, wetting, adhesion, throw distance, 3D objects, regulatory concerns, and more.
The following industrial printing markets show a sampling of where Kao Collins inks are used:
Ceramics
Textiles
Automotive
Product Decoration
Labels
3-D
