Vendors continue to enhance and introduce digital printers targeting the corrugated market. The February issue of Industrial Print magazine features a chart listing various digital corrugated printers available currently. We also asked vendors to elaborate a bit on some of their more standout models.
Feature sets available on these printers focus on hold down mechanisms to manage corrugated board like vacuums as well high-profile ink sets.
Canon U.S.A., Inc.
The Arizona 6100 XTHF Series printers, with High Flow Vacuum, easily pulls down porous, warped substrates. Successfully create challenging packaging, display, and interior décor applications like never before. High Flow Vacuum produces up to 15 times the airflow of existing systems and an enhanced table with 250,000 air holes for maximum hold down.
Digitech
Trufire LT/X3 was launched in 2024 with three rows of printheads and a speed increase over its sister printer, the X2. Similar to the X2 it is ideal for large capacity jobs.
Durst Image Technology US
The Delta SPC 130 offers single-pass technology to the corrugated industry. The system combines a well-engineered mechanical design with easily accessible sub-assemblies and selected components to guarantee durable quality, high performance, and reliability. The Delta SPC 130 is equipped with Durst’s SPC drop on demand printhead technology and has a non-hazardous ink system and infrared/UV drying process designed for high productivity. Configure the Delta SPC 130 with up to six colors, printing any length of corrugated cardboard or paper media of up to 12 millimeters in thickness.
