MAXStick certified on Epson Thermal Label Printer

10.14.16

MAXStick Products, suppliers of direct thermal, liner-free, removable adhesive labels, has announced that it has received certification from Epson America, Inc. for the use of MAXStick on the Epson TM-L90 Plus LFC (Liner-Free Compatible) Thermal Label Printer. The certification covers the 74gsm MAXStick Plus Diamond Adhesive Formation 58mm width roll and the 55gsmn MAXStick2GO 4 Stripe Adhesive Formation 80mm width roll.

The TM-L90 printer offers support for 40mm, 58mm and 80mm prints widths and includes enhanced paper saving options to reduce label usage by up to 30%. The L-90 printer, partnered with MAXStick liner-free labels, ensures that QSR’s and restaurants alike can quickly print orders and labels improving order accuracy and efficiency. The certification is the second by Epson, joining the certification of MAXStick on the TM-88IV Restick Printer. According to the company, this makes MAXStick the only liner-free label media to receive certification on both printers.

“We are very pleased with the two innovative MAXStick media products that have been tested for use with our TM-L90 Plus LFC printer,” says Gregg Brunnick, director of product management and technical services, Business Systems Division. “Use of tested labels helps ensure that print quality and printhead life will be maintained, which is critical for our customers. They also get to take advantage of the great features MAXStick offers such as its eco-friendliness and linerless label roll, eliminating unnecessary waste.”

Crafted with a “removable and restickable” adhesive formulation, MAXStick liner-free labels are environmentally friendly labeling solutions that are recyclable, silicone free and Bisphenol Free (BP-Free). MAXStick is currently utilized in a diverse range of applications and industries, including food service/hospitality, warehousing, libraries, retail, parking, reusable plastic containers and medical diagnostics.
