Mimaki USA, a leading manufacturer of wide-format inkjet printers and cutters, announced the UJF-7151 plusII e UV-LED flatbed printer. This new iteration of the bestselling UJF flatbed printer line will be displayed for the first time in the Mimaki USA booth #1555 at the Printing United Expo, October 22-45, in Orlando, FL.

The new UJF-7151 plusII e model inherits the best-in-class printing precision and productivity found in previous models while significantly enhancing ink layering capability and the ability to image uneven surfaces. Building on Mimaki direct surface imaging technology, it now enables increased three-dimensional texture production through ink layering and improved jetting accuracy to diverse shapes like curved and uneven surfaces. This enables high-value-added manufacturing across a wide range of fields, including promotional and industrial printing, opening new possibilities for both.

Key features of the UJF-7151 plusII e
• Industry-leading print accuracy: Beginning with a robust chassis structure and high-precision position control which excels in industrial printing applications such as dials and control panels. Furthermore, its high resolution of up to 1,800 dpi, combined with the use of light cyan and light magenta inks in addition to standard four-color printing, reproduces delicate color tones like fine gradations and subtle tints with smooth results.
• Increased ink layering ability: With a maximum ink layering of up to 5mm – significantly exceeding conventional models, enables embossed effects and three-dimensional texture generation. This greatly expands the range of possibilities for tactile and decorative design.
• Improved ink ejection performance: Enabling precise printing on curved and uneven surfaces up to 10mm away from the ink ejection point. This offers Industrial Printing operations to image onto curved surfaces, including molded parts with steps, industrial components, and more.
• Accelerated primer application: Enhancing print productivity for industrial materials by significantly reducing application time compared to conventional models. This dramatically increases printing speed onto industrial materials requiring primer treatment such as acrylic, glass, and metal by up to 3.7 times faster.
• Ink-saving feature: Achieve up to a 42% ink reduction while maintaining proper color balance. This feature enables users to reduce running costs on a job-by-job basis without extensive color management knowledge.
• Mimaki Application Assistant (MA2): New user application which displays all software compatible with a customer’s Mimaki printer and enables them to seamlessly utilize product updates and feature enhancements. By providing integrated hardware and software solutions, Mimaki can focus on improving customers’ production quality and operational efficiency.
