Rapid Liquid Print (RLP), developer of the patented Gravity Free Manufacturing™ technology, and Amecos GmbH, a German specialist in industrial additive manufacturing solutions, today announced a strategic partnership for the distribution and commercial market launch of the Levity™ additive manufacturing platform in Europe.
Originating from the MIT Self-Assembly Lab, RLP has developed a novel approach to additive manufacturing that enables support-free printing of silicone and elastomer components directly within a reusable gel matrix. This process eliminates the need for traditional support structures and extensive post-processing, allowing complex, flexible parts to be produced efficiently and with minimal material waste.
Levity™, RLP’s first industrial system based on Gravity Free Manufacturing™, offers a build volume of 50 × 50 × 50 cm and is scheduled for commercial availability in 2026. The platform expands design freedom for elastomeric components while reducing material consumption through the use of a fully reusable suspension gel.
Under the partnership, Amecos GmbH will act as RLP’s distribution and market development partner in Europe. With more than 30 years of experience in additive manufacturing, Amecos supports industrial customers from application evaluation and part qualification through to technology integration and production ramp-up.
“With Levity™, RLP introduces a manufacturing technology that addresses long-standing challenges in the industrial processing of elastomers,” says Andreas Tulaj, Co-Founder of Amecos. “Our role is to make this technology accessible to European customers and support its integration into real production environments.”
The collaboration combines RLP’s technology development expertise with Amecos’ established presence in the European AM market. Together, the companies aim to facilitate structured market entry, application-driven adoption, and scalable industrial use of Gravity Free Manufacturing™ technology.
“Amecos brings deep knowledge of the European market and industrial customer
requirements,” says Schendy Kernizan, Co-Founder and CEO of Rapid Liquid Print. “This partnership provides the foundation for a successful introduction of Levity™ in Europe and for translating innovation into practical manufacturing solutions.”
