PIKE decor: A versatile, customizable platform for industrial applications.
The PIKE decor UV inkjet printer from SPGPrints is a fully customizable platform for the end-to-end production of industrial applications using paper, board, film, foil, vinyl and flexible packaging materials. Using a standard 5-colour (CMYK+W) UV ink set (capable of extending up to 10 color print bars), the PIKE decor uses inter-color LED pinning for crisp definition and color generation.
The central cylinder configuration makes the use of substrates from 20 – 450μm possible. The temperature-controlled cylinder enables the printing of many heat- and stretch sensitive materials. And enables to print in register immediately.
Optional inline processes, like rotary screen and UV flexo, provide value-adding enhancements. The printer also delivers the cost-saving benefits of digital printing, enabling print-on-demand, cost-effective short runs and reduced logistical costs.
